Woodblock with Lino ep.5 Printing by Hand: the Right Burnishing Tool for the Block - With woodgrain, how you rub the back of the print is important - how much detail do you want to capture? In this film I make my 'Roof Shingle Rookery' Print and show how a variety of tools from conventional spoons and barens to the mad 'Horse Baren' and my hands can coax a lovely impression from wood and lino when table top printing. Over the next two films I'll be showing how to drop in another block and use a mask to change the print. Both prints from this series are now available in my website shop - these signed originals cost £35 each and we ship worldwide www.lauraboswell.co.uk
